A simple ceramic citrus juicer handmade in Japan, designed for squeezing everything from lemons and limes to larger citrus such as oranges and grapefruit.
Made in Mino, one of Japan’s historic pottery-producing regions, the juicer combines an everyday kitchen function with the quiet beauty of Japanese ceramics.
The raised central reamer allows citrus to be pressed and turned by hand, while the surrounding bowl collects the fresh juice. A small pouring spout and integrated handle make it easy to transfer the juice directly into a glass, bowl, dressing, or recipe.
At approximately 17 cm wide, this is the larger size and is particularly useful for grapefruit and oranges as well as smaller citrus fruits.
Its clean white finish and sculptural form make it an object that can remain on the kitchen counter rather than needing to be hidden away after use.

HOW TO USE
Cut the citrus fruit in half and press it gently onto the raised ceramic reamer while turning. The juice collects in the surrounding bowl and can then be poured directly using the handle and spout.
CARE
Wash thoroughly after use, particularly after squeezing acidic citrus juice, and allow to dry before storing.
Because this is handmade Japanese pottery, slight variations in shape, glaze, color and surface texture may occur. These subtle differences are part of the character of each piece.
