Japanese Green Tea for Shochu — 15 Tea Bags / 75 g
A Japanese green tea blend created specifically for Green Tea High — the classic combination of Japanese shochu and green tea.
Unlike an ordinary green tea used as a mixer, this blend was developed by tea specialists to retain the aroma, depth and character of the tea even when combined with shochu.
The base is carefully selected deep-steamed green tea from Shizuoka Prefecture, known for its rich color and full flavor. Japanese matcha is added for smoothness, gentle sweetness, umami and a vivid green appearance, while Japanese-grown mulberry leaf rounds out the blend with a clean, balanced finish.
The result is a deep yet refreshing green tea with enough presence to stand alongside shochu without disappearing behind the alcohol.
It can also be enjoyed simply as green tea — hot or iced, with no alcohol at all.
THE BLEND
01 — SHIZUOKA DEEP-STEAMED GREEN TEA
Selected for its rich color, aroma and full-bodied flavor. Its depth allows the character of the tea to remain present when mixed with shochu.
02 — JAPANESE MATCHA
Adds smooth richness, gentle sweetness, umami and the distinctive vivid green color.
03 — JAPANESE MULBERRY LEAF
Blended with the green tea and matcha for a clean, smooth and well-balanced finish.
HOW TO ENJOY A GREEN TEA HIGH
1. Brew the tea slightly stronger than you normally would.
2. Pour over plenty of ice and allow it to chill.
3. Add Japanese shochu to taste.
4. Stir gently and enjoy.
The tea can also be served on its own, either hot or over ice.
