What’s Included
• Wasabi Toda Salt (35g)
• Hasami-yaki soy sauce dispenser (100ml)
• Ceramic divided condiment dish
About the Wasabi Salt
This seasoning is made with two regional ingredients from Shizuoka:
• Toda Salt from the coastal village of Toda along Suruga Bay
• Wasabi grown in the clear spring waters of the Amagi region
Toda Salt is produced by slowly boiling mineral-rich seawater for over 13 hours using traditional methods revived by local artisans. The result is mild, deep, and subtly sweet. Blended with fragrant wasabi, it becomes sharp yet balanced—aromatic, clean, and full-bodied.
Perfect for
• Tempura
• Grilled fish
• Yakitori
• Cold tofu
• Avocado, fresh fish, or simple rice bowls
Wasabi Toda Salt is produced by Kameya, a long-established wasabi maker awarded a Japan Tourism Agency Gold Prize. Shizuoka’s water-grown wasabi cultivation is also recognized as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS) for its harmony with nature.
