This tea comes from Zairai (native Japanese) tea plants grown naturally from seed rather than cuttings. Seed cultivation allows each plant to develop deep root systems, absorbing minerals directly from the surrounding soil and expressing a distinctive terroir.

Sourced from tea trees over 100 years old, the leaves offer a deep aroma, full body, and lingering umami. Natural cross-pollination among seed-grown plants creates a complex, layered flavor profile unique to Zairai tea.

Brewing Instructions (1 serving)
1. Add 5 g of tea leaves to a teapot  
2. Pour 150 ml of hot water (80–90°C / 176–194°F)  
3. Steep for approx. 50 seconds  
4. Pour completely  
5. For the second infusion, use 90–100°C water and steep for approx. 40 seconds
