Description
A hand-dyed Kyoto shibori handkerchief created by a certified traditional craftsman using the Line Shibori technique.
About this item
Dyed with Kyo-Kanoko Shibori, one of Japan’s most respected resist-dye traditions, this piece features soft, flowing patterns formed by tightly binding the fabric edge before dyeing. Each handkerchief is uniquely patterned, reflecting the character of true handwork.
Made from Tokkō Sarashi, a premium traditional Japanese cotton, the fabric is soft, breathable, and highly absorbent. With repeated washing and use, it becomes even more comfortable.
Curator’s Note
