Description
A refined dialogue between stone and cord.
This one-of-a-kind Sekimori-ishi (Guardian Stone) combines a natural Nachiguro stone with traditional Edo-Uchi kumihimo cord, expressing a quiet balance of weight, texture, and craftsmanship.
Sekimori-ishi originate from a historic Japanese practice in which stones were placed to gently suggest boundaries within tea gardens and pathways. Rather than obstructing space, the stone communicates intention through presence.
