Description
This one-of-a-kind Sekimori-ishi (Guardian Stone) is inspired by a traditional Japanese practice of expressing boundaries through quiet presence rather than physical division.
Naturally formed in the Himekawa river region of Niigata, Japan, the stone carries a warm, earthy surface with subtle mineral patterns shaped over time. It is carefully hand-bound with a deep brown cord, creating a calm visual tension—softness and weight, restraint and stillness.
Designed as a contemplative sculptural object, it works beautifully as a Zen accent for interiors, meditation spaces, shelves, or curated minimalist settings.
