Description
A Shigaraki-yaki small bowl where rustic clay texture meets a calm Kohiki white slip glaze, finished with bold geometric accents.
This bowl highlights the natural, gritty warmth of Shigaraki clay on the lower half, contrasted by a smooth, ash-infused Kohiki finish above. The intersecting “X” lines are applied by hand, giving the piece a modern, abstract feeling while staying rooted in traditional Japanese kiln work. Deep and palm-sized, it’s a versatile kobachi form made to be used—and enjoyed—every day.
