Description
A Shigaraki-yaki small bowl where rustic clay texture meets a calm Kohiki white slip glaze, finished with bold geometric accents.

This bowl highlights the natural, gritty warmth of Shigaraki clay on the lower half, contrasted by a smooth, ash-infused Kohiki finish above. The intersecting “X” lines are applied by hand, giving the piece a modern, abstract feeling while staying rooted in traditional Japanese kiln work. Deep and palm-sized, it’s a versatile kobachi form made to be used—and enjoyed—every day.

Key Features
• Tactile contrast: raw Shigaraki clay texture + smooth Kohiki white slip
• Hand-applied geometric pattern: each “cross” line is unique
• Deep kobachi shape: stable, practical for sauced dishes and small servings

Ideal for
• Nimono, small rice portions, side dishes, sauces

• Also beautiful as a small decor vessel (air plants, stones, small objects)
