The Concept: Intersecting Timelines
“Silent Fragments” is a dialogue between two different scales of time.
One is geological time—stones shaped over millennia by the harsh waves of the Tsugaru coast.
The other is human time—captured in antique Japanese manuscripts.
By wrapping silent stones in traces of historical words, this work offers a fragment of eternity for your space.
