Description
Edition 01: Monochrome
A one-of-a-kind Japanese stone art set presented in a paulownia (kiri) wood box, wrapped in hand-traced calligraphy paper.

Created by Marika, founder of WabiSabi Kitchen.

You will receive the exact set pictured.

Concept
“Silent Fragments” explores a dialogue between two scales of time: the geological time of stones shaped by waves and weather, and the human time preserved in historical Japanese manuscripts. By pairing natural stone with traces of calligraphy, each composition becomes a study of balance, stillness, and presence.

Edition 01: Monochrome Shoreline
This first edition features five stones selected for their restrained, ink-like tones. Inspired by suiboku-ga (ink wash painting), the palette expresses depth through subtle gradations of black, grey, and mineral white.

Limited to five unique sets. Each set is individually numbered.

Stones in This Set – Fluidity & Form
• The Current – Dark elongated stone with delicate white crystalline veins
• The Fragment – Deep charcoal stone with a bold, asymmetrical silhouette
• The Sediment – Textured stone with layered horizontal bands
• The Pebble – Smooth light-toned form with gentle curvature
• The Horizon – Balanced grey oval marked by subtle parallel lines
