"Han'ei" (Prosperity) — a sculptural pair of parent and young tiger figures by Japanese sculptor Sotaro Saegusa.
Created in copper, the two tigers are represented through bold geometric forms, elongated silhouettes, and carefully simplified details. Their angular bodies and expressive postures create a sense of movement, while the muted green patinated finish gives the sculptures a distinctive, timeworn character.
The larger tiger leads with a confident stride, accompanied by a smaller tiger in a matching design. Displayed together, the pair conveys a quiet sense of connection and continuity.
The title "Han'ei" (繁栄), meaning prosperity or flourishing, adds a symbolic dimension to the composition.
Rather than a conventional animal figurine, this set has the presence of a small modernist sculpture. It works beautifully in a minimalist interior, on a bookshelf, console, or display pedestal.
The set includes its original presentation box, display base, and nameplate.
