Made in Yokkaichi Banko ware (Japan) with heat-resistant clay, this rounded, narrow-rim design is built to keep steam and umami inside—so your rice turns out glossy, fluffy, and deeply flavorful.

The best part: it makes the classic rice-cooking rhythm—“start gentle, then strong, and don’t lift the lid”—surprisingly easy. With a simple two-step method, you can cook rice in about 25 minutes. Adjust the cooking time by 1–2 minutes if you like a crisp, fragrant okoge (toasty rice crust).

How to Use (Rice Cooking)
1. Add washed rice + water, then cook over medium heat for about 13 minutes.
2. Turn off heat and let steam quietly for about 12 minutes (do not lift the lid).
Optional: add 1–2 minutes cooking time for okoge.
