A sculptural black ceramic mini pot with a matching ceramic trivet by Japanese ceramic artist **Jinnai Sakata (坂田甚内)**, known for his distinctive pottery from Mashiko, Japan.
The pot features a wide, shallow body with two extended handles, a softly rounded interior, and fine horizontal lines across its textured surface. Its charcoal-black finish is complemented by subtle variations in earthy gray tones.
The accompanying circular ceramic trivet features carved, flowing patterns and an irregular edge, creating a striking contrast with the restrained silhouette of the pot.
Together, the two pieces balance the functional language of traditional Japanese cookware with the expressive character of sculptural ceramics.
Beautiful as a standalone object, the set can also be displayed on a shelf, kitchen counter, or dining table.
